Our Mission

On January 6, 2012 God spoke to me saying, "I have a plan for you."

As He does for all of us--yet this time, I listened.

I have always been blessed, yet I often mentioned how I was without peace. Now as I began listening, I recognized I had found that peace. What evolved has been a beautiful journey of a new-found love of my Lord and a greater respect and appreciation for the ultimate sacrifice He made for all, on the cross.

I was drawn to make crosses and share with others. As I did so, we would have a prayer. So began Praying Crosses. This has evolved into a mission of sharing God's love by way of sharing our handmade crosses. And I began to see how our crosses can help us communicate with God in thankfulness, appreciation, love, forgiveness and in requests of prayer.

Place these crosses anywhere you feel appropriate, such as on the dash of your car, on a nightstand, desk, kitchen counter or in your pocket, briefcase, backpack, or purse. Use it to remember that God is always with us, and always listening to our prayers.

Prayers for the right reasons, in God's time, are answered.

The following verses can help remind us why we pray.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Prov. 3:5-6).

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future'" (Jer. 29:11).
